You’ve probably seen my series of F5 postings in the past. Those are devoted to informing you whenever I make a change to jBlog, whether it be physical or all in the gears (i.e. Publicize, Widgets, etc.). I am starting a new periodic series which, ironically, will be named “F1″. On a PC, F1 generally invokes a help menu or window. Essentially, F1 helps you get information. This is what the new F1 line of posts will be like. They will be updates on what’s going on when times are slow. I suppose, in a way, they are like the Scribbles I used to write. Anyway, keep an eye out for those. But for now, here’s today’s update:
October 12, 2009
- Writing for media (WR-201) is quite interesting. It really helps if you are very devoted and seriously involved in media, because a normal student taking the class just for kicks not only will complain and struggle, but will also be subconsciously compared and, essentially, ranked against others in the class. It’s a good course, though… So far that is. It will get challenging
- I am volunteering to photograph the OSU drag show on October 30th. That will be an experience… Am still getting information from the host person – so it’s not legit yet.
- Dixon is now a regular part of my life. It is so important to me that I go and work out. I’m really devoted to losing this weight and I am down 28lbs from my starting weight. But I’m stuck at the current number I’m down to, despite the calorie cutting and workout routine. I also wish I had a trainer or something – maybe just even a friend to show me how to do weights and stuff. I go into the weight room on occasion, and I am actually nervous as I search for a machine that is the simplest. I don’t want to look like a fool trying to operate a machine but failing at it. I might consider seeing a campus health advisor… But I don’t think that’ll cut it. I really just need someone to answer my questions and be able to tell and show me what to do in order to get the results I want.
- Safeway’s Eating Right line of frozen meals are delicious and healthy. They are the best entrĂ©es even up against Healthy Choice and Michelina’s Lean.
- Homework is crazy off-and-on. Right now I’m in a low swell, but by mid-week, I will be flooded. Midterms and papers due here and there – I’ve gotta right it all down.
- I keep procrastinating when it comes to applying for The Daily Barometer or KBVR – I just need to bite the bullet and do it – it is for my own good.
