Today, at Oregon State University, a majority of the Democratic Ticket made an appearance in front of a politically-driven, but smaller crowd in the Memorial Union. After an approximately 30-minute mini-rally, I got to shake hands with candidate for Senate Jeff Merkley, and current governor Ted Kulongaski. Furthermore, I was able to find a Merkley campaign poster someone left behind, and got his autograph and a picture with him! Want to know the funny part of this story? I voted for Gordon Smith.
